Ion Beam Sputtered Optical Coatings

Design and produce a wide variety of multi-wavelength, multi-functional coatings, many of which become the enabling elements in state-of-the-art laser resonators and laser systems. MLD's metrology laboratory includes a Group Delay Dispersion capability, Cavity Ringdown Lossmeters and a Photothermal Common-path Interferometer as well as Spectrophotometers and Phase Shifting Interferometers.
